Abstract：This paper is designed to introduce and discuss the chinese development and achievements in Antarctic scientific exploration. Meanwhile, based on the authors' own experience in participation in the fifth Chinese Antarctic expedition and the trend of the main countries which pay close attention to Antarctic resources, energy sources and environment, it points out some noteworthy problems in Chinese Antarctic research.
